The official Formula E rookie test will be held on Monday 14 July after the Berlin E‑Prix (12‑13 July).
Three‑time W Series champion Chadwick has enjoyed a successful 2025 racing in sportscars. In addition to making her Le Mans debut in June, Chadwick has taken victory in the European Le Mans Series events this season for IDEC Sport in the LMP2 class. This will be third time Chadwick has tested the Jaguar I‑TYPE 7 in Season 10, having driven in both the women's test in Madrid and the Rookie Free Practice session in Jeddah.
In contrast, the Berlin rookie test will be the first time Fornaroli has driven Formula E machinery. The Italian is currently fourth in the FIA Formula 2 standings after taking his first victory of the season last weekend at Silverstone, and has a further four podiums and two pole positions so far in 2025 for Invicta Racing. Fornaroli is the current FIA Formula 3 champion, having taken the coveted crown in 2024 at the second attempt, scoring two pole positions and seven podiums in total.
The rookie tests are extremely important, giving the opportunity to talented drivers to experience the pinnacle of electric motorsport and the latest Formula E GEN3 Evo car. We’re delighted to welcome back Jamie to the team and give her another chance to put the Jaguar I‑TYPE 7 through its paces. Jamie has enjoyed plenty of success in sportscars this year and has excelled across multiple motorsport disciplines, so it will be great to see her drive in Formula E again.
“We are also delighted to welcome Leonardo into the team in Berlin. Leonardo is enjoying an impressive debut season in Formula 2 off the back of winning the Formula 3 title last year – a superb achievement against a really strong field of drivers. We look forward to seeing what Leonardo can do behind the wheel of the Jaguar I‑TYPE 7 as he showcases his skillset in Formula E for the first time.

It is a privilege to mark my first official test in Formula E with Jaguar TCS Racing. It is going to be a new challenge for me, but one I am looking forward to. To work with the current world championship‑winning team is a great opportunity for me and it will be really exciting to take to the Tempelhof Airport circuit for the first time.
