Cacá Bueno said: ‘Being among the world’s first drivers of the first official production‑based electric vehicle race series is a privilege. Jaguar is making history by being in the vanguard of premium vehicles electrification. Jaguar has won Le Mans so many times, and is now launching the I‑PACE eTROPHY! I’m so proud to be partners with Jaguar, such a big brand! And sponsors have realised the grandness of it all, and they have relied on me as one of the team’s drivers, so they can rest assured I’m thankful and I’ll now do my best’.
Sergio Jiminez said: ‘I’m very happy to be chosen by Jaguar Brazil to be able to perform at this pioneering race, which will certainly be part of the motorsport history, so being part of this is truly fantastic. I’ve got great synergy with Cacá, we’ve raced together for 3 years in Europe and we’ve shared a lot of podiums. Now, as team mates, I’m sure we’ll take the Brazilian flag up high in the podium”.
