ABB FIA FORMULA E WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP - SEASON NINE CALENDAR

1 July 2022

James Barclay, Jaguar TCS Racing Team Principal: "Season nine of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship is set to be one of the most exciting seasons so far. The provisional calendar released today is for up to 18 races in 13 iconic cities, everyone at Jaguar TCS Racing is thrilled to be showcasing the all‑new Gen3 Formula E car in 2023, starting in Mexico City in January. Two new locations revealed on the season nine calendar so far are India and Brazil, both are an extremely exciting prospect for the all‑electric World Championship. Brazil has a rich heritage in motorsport and it's going to be very exciting to bring Formula E to a very enthusiastic motorsport audience in São Paulo in March. Importantly for us as a team being proudly part of the Tata Group family, and with Tata Consultancy Services as our title partner, we're really looking forward to taking on the streets of Hyderabad in India for the first time. With further events to be confirmed on the final season nine calendar we are looking forward to bringing Formula E to new and exciting city centre venues. We still have seven races to focus on for this season and all of the team are working incredibly hard to ensure we're fighting for points, podiums and wins."
