TECHEETAH is working together with Ryan Walkinshaw to bring back the Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR) brand to international motorsport. The team will be known as TWR TECHEETAH and will field Stefan Rzadzinski (CAN) behind the wheel of the Jaguar I‑PACE eTROPHY racecar.

I’m very proud to return our family’s name to racing. Given the rich history TWR have with Jaguar, it felt like the perfect opportunity to revive TWR with TECHEETAH through one of the world’s most exciting motorsport platforms. It’s also my great pleasure to welcome Canadian racing driver, Stefan Rzadzinski, to the team. Stefan is a very talented up and coming driver who has come from the Porsche GT3 Cup

When we signed on the dotted line to enter the series it was a big moment for all of us. I’ve been wanting to get involved in electric racing for a while now and to be able to do so and bring back the TWR brand is quite something. It will be the first time I’m in the I‑PACE later this week so I’m sure there will be some things to learn. I’m very motivated to have a great season with a fantastic team behind us, so let’s go racing

Notes to Editors

JAGUAR I‑PACE eTROPHY

After becoming the first premium manufacturer to enter the ABB FIA Formula E Championship in 2016, Jaguar has now created the world’s first production battery electric vehicle race series – the Jaguar I‑PACE eTROPHY. The history‑making championship is the official support race to the ABB FIA Formula E Championship, with up to 20 cars taking to the grid from season five onwards. The series supports the launch of the Jaguar I‑PACE, Jaguar’s first battery electric vehicle, and reinforces Jaguar Land Rover’s future electrification strategy, commitment to electric street racing and ‘Race to Innovate’ mission. Championship partners include official tyre supplier Michelin, official charging partner ABB, technical partner Sabelt and official clothing supplier One All Sports.
