Carroll and Evans will join Finnish sim racing phenomenon and former world champion Greger Huttu for Panasonic Jaguar Racing. The VISA Vegas eRace final will take place at the Venetian Hotel on Saturday 7 January at 16:05 (UTC) with qualify rounds starting at 13:25 (UTC). The race will be streamed live on Twitch, the world's leading video platform and community for gamers.
The VISA Vegas eRace is yet another example of how Formula E is transforming racing and appealing to a new growing fanbase. We are proud to welcome Greger to the team for this special event and he has already given Adam and Mitch some advice. This is a very different experience for us as a team, we are raring to go and looking forward to it. I hope to sneak in a few laps on the simulator myself if nobody is looking!

Team Director, Panasonic Jaguar Racing
Greger Huttu, Sim Racer, Panasonic Jaguar Racing (#18), said: “I have raced in eSports for years and have seen how it has grown into a global sport but Formula E’s Road to Vegas has taken it to another level. The qualifying heats to get to the final have been very intense and it’s been cool to see how enthusiastically Formula E fans have supported us. The Vegas final promises to be very special with so many spectators cheering us on. I feel like part of the team already and I am proud to race in Panasonic Jaguar Racing colours.”
Mitch Evans, Driver, Panasonic Jaguar Racing (#20) said: “From Hong Kong to Marrakesh and now the bright lights of Las Vegas ‑ what a cool championship this is. The atmosphere is going to be spectacular in the run‑up to the final in Las Vegas and we have some exciting things planned. I won one of the eRaces in Hong Kong but these guys are professional so it will be very tough. Adam and I are lucky to have such a good team‑mate in Greger, that guy is really on it. I’m excited to go racing and soak up what will be a really special event and hopefully the three of us can get our simulated elbows out during the eRace and come away with a strong result.”
