PANASONIC JAGUAR RACING DRIVER
25 year old, British racing driver Alex Lynn joined Panasonic Jaguar Racing for the second half of the Season Five ABB FIA Formula E championship. Alex's first competitive race for the team took place at the seventh round of the championship in Rome.
Lynn from Great Dunmow, Essex, offers a wealth of knowledge and experience within Formula E having previously represented the British manufacturer at Panasonic Jaguar Racings pre-season test at Donington Park in 2016. Alex was also a former reserve and test driver for DS Virgin Racing, subsequently promoted to a full race seat for the entire season four Championship.
Starting his racing career in karting at the age eleven, Lynn has excelled in both single seaters and sports cars. His career highlights include winning the 2017 Sebring 12 Hours, being crowned the 2014 GP3 World Champion plus multiple wins and pole positions in GP2. Alex’s CV has also included a 2-year stint as the Williams Formula 1 Team Test driver.
