STATEMENT ON SANYA E-PRIX

2 February 2020

In light of the continued spread of coronavirus and the World Health Organisation (WHO) declaring the coronavirus outbreak an international emergency, the decision has been made to not race in Sanya on the scheduled date of March 21, 2020.

We support the decision of ABB FIA Formula, and therefore the Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY will also not be racing in Sanya on the scheduled race date.

The health and safety of the Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY drivers and teams and Jaguar Racing staff is of paramount importance, and we make this decision following the guidance of WHO and ABB FIA Formula E.

We are working closely with ABB FIA Formula E to continue monitoring the situation as it develops. All parties will take the appropriate amount of time to study the viability of potential alternative dates.
